The Roots x Ruthie logo was designed to look elegant, professional, and modern for a high-end hairstylist suite.

The main logo combines a stylish symbol with the brand name in clear, easy-to-read fonts, with a line to create balance and structure. A simpler version of the logo is also available for use in different branding assets.

The Process

During the discovery and research phase, I audited existing brands and visual references that resonated with the client to better understand her target audience and the desired aesthetic of the salon suite. This process helped define the brand’s positioning, tone, and visual direction—ensuring the final logo authentically reflected both her personal style and the experience she wanted to create for her clients.

The Final

The final selected logo balances modern elegance with timeless sophistication. The refined “RR” monogram creates a strong, recognizable mark that feels elevated and boutique, while the pairing of a high-contrast serif with a clean sans serif adds both personality and versatility.

The minimalist black-and-white palette reinforces a luxury salon experience, allowing the typography to lead with confidence. The result is a polished, scalable identity that feels intentional, high-end, and perfectly aligned with the elevated atmosphere she envisioned for her suite.
